What the Solution Does – and Why It Is Unique

The Vision.Toolbox Web-Separator creates file separator sheets with machine-readable QR codes directly in the browser – either form-based for individual projects (Version 1) or Excel-driven for automated mass processing from customer tables (Version 2). The QR codes are used for document separation and automated indexing.

Version 1
Form-based separator sheet creation
Customisable for your project. For example: enter the file reference manually, select the file type, and choose register labels from the catalogue. For each selected value, a dedicated separator-sheet page with a QR code is generated. Ideal for customer projects with many files that require a high degree of individualisation, such as creating separator sheets at the workstation and inserting them into the file.
Version 2
Excel-driven mass processing
Upload an Excel table – the application automatically creates one complete separator sheet per data row. Customer tables can be used directly, or custom tables can be created.
Version 2
Up to 5 QR codes with fixed positioning
Each column of the table controls a defined position on the separator sheet. Position the QR codes via the entry in the table column. Perfect for your scanning and capture application.
PDF and ZIP export
All separator sheets in a multi-page PDF for mass printing, or each separator sheet as an individual file in a ZIP archive – depending on the requirement for printing, filing, or further processing.
Locally on the network or in the cloud
The application starts as a local web server and is accessible via browser – it can be operated internally on your own network or as a service for customers in the cloud.
Two versions for different requirements
Version 1 for individual projects with form and catalogue, Version 2 for automated processing from Excel tables – both versions complement each other ideally in practice.
Departments become self-sufficient
Clients and departments can create separator sheets themselves and independently prepare files for digitisation – without scanning expertise and without direct access to the scan infrastructure.
Perfectly tailored to your own scanning solution
Scanning service providers can configure the separator sheets precisely for their own scanning and capture solution – the generated QR codes feed directly into the automated batch-separation workflow and transfer the detected QR-code values to the application’s index fields.

Start the application and use your URL in the browser – or use the provided network/cloud address. Confirm the EULA once on first start.

Enter data or upload table
Version 1: Enter file reference number, select file type, mark register labels from the catalogue. Version 2: Upload Excel file (.xlsx/.xlsm) and load – row count is displayed immediately.

Select output format
All separator sheets as a multi-page PDF – or each separator sheet as an individual file in a ZIP file. Depending on the requirement for printing, filing, or further processing.

Click “Generate & download PDFs”. The browser starts the download immediately and saves the file to your personal downloads folder.
